Micro Internships
Micro InternshipsStudents apply for paid, 6 to 8-week company challenges led by Open Avenues Global Talent Fellows. Participating students receive guidance from industry professionals, exposure to hiring companies, and a work experience to add to a resume or portfolio.
We help students build their portfolios, increase social capital, and refine their resumes to land their first job.
Career Preparation
Students from OA partner colleges and universities receive access to 1:1 mentor sessions, industry panels, and speed networking events with our Global Talent Fellows. To help students develop their analytical skills, Open Avenues partners with DataCamp, a leading provider of project-based education in R, Python, and Data Science.
Selected candidates receive a free year-long subscription to DataCamp; this way, students can combine the benefits of high-quality on-demand courses along with Open Avenues' 1:1 mentor assistance whenever it's needed.
