Marja Pimentel

Marja Pimentel is a Biomedical Engineering Global Talent Fellow at Open Avenues, where she works with students leading projects related with nanoparticles and drug delivery.

She holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering and MS degree in Biomedical Engineering, with the latter focused on the development and application of polymeric nanoparticles. She is currently a Senior RA at CRISPR Therapeutics where she works on the development and optimization of lipid nanoparticles for gene editing.

She is originally from Brazil and he has worked in different industries such as biotechnology, medical device and automotive.
