Salih Topal is a Molecular Biology Global Talent Fellow at Open Avenues, where he works with students leading projects in Molecular Biology.

Salih is a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Foghorn Therapeutics where he works on analyzing multi-omics datasets to investigate mechanism of actions for certain drugs targeting chromatin.Salih has 10 years of experience in Chromatin Biology field. He has been at Foghorn Therapeutics for 2 years. Prior to that, he worked as post-doctoral associate at UMass Medical School. He holds MSc in Neuroscience and PhD in Molecular Biology.
